This hands-on position is responsible for the management and continued profitable growth of Elliott Aviation’s rotable inventory program.

Essential functions of this position include:

  • Responsible for analyzing all current Elliott owned rotable/serialized inventory for profitability, redundancy, suitability, prior sales, and rarity of specifics parts.
  • Organize, inventory, computerize, and price all Elliott owned rotable inventories. Maintain or exceed corporate/budget guidelines.
  • Analyze and/or recommend (per Elliott SOAP) future product introduction, as to meet the demand of corporate goals and objectives.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels while exceeding the corporate profit goals and the expectations of our customers. Includes adjusting inventory counts, researching vendors for quality/profitability, negotiate price, and initiate purchase orders to vendors.
  • Responsible for computerized data entry and maintenance of rotable/serialized parts inclusive to the rotable inventory.
  • Contributes data/input for department annual budgets.
  • Researching and recommending potential future rotable inventory as per Elliott Aviation, Inc. SOAP policy. 
  • Provides support and guidance to the purchasing, wholesale, and technical divisions by recommending vendors for non-Elliott owned rotables.
  • Responsible for managing the warranty cage (30 day reject items).
  • Direct, negotiate, and properly bill all over and above charges for Aviation Rotables.
  • Ensure timely return of all Rotable Cores and New Part returns and if needed proper billing of restock fees.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job requirements

Top candidates will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently to meet key deliverables and objectives with superior organizational skills. Other requirements include:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 10 years G/A parts industry
  • Prior supervisory/management experience preferred
  • Rotable/serialized inventory management experience
  • Beechcraft/Raytheon aircraft experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently
  • Self-motivated
  • Detail oriented
  • Purchasing negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of and experience with computers/data entry
