As Aircraft Sales Manager, you will play a key role in all aspects of the aircraft acquisition process.

The Aircraft Sales Manager will achieve aircraft sales departmental profit objectives by actively prospecting and successfully retailing pre-owned aircraft in our inventory consistent with our aircraft sales objectives.  Successfully negotiate for worthwhile additional revenue opportunities such as aircraft brokerage agreements, acquisition agreements, earning OEM sales support fees and promoting the general services offered by our entire company.

Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Successfully sell aircraft and related services.
  • Continual prospecting i.e. face to face meetings, phone, direct mail, demonstrations and any other methods available.
  • Promote Elliott Aviation whenever possible.
  • Set personal goals and regularly review progress.
  • Have in place at all times a working sales plan for the department and work the plan.
  • Keep Sales Assistant focused, productive and accountable per sales plan.
  • Continual personal skills improvement i.e. technical product knowledge, tax and finance, selling skills, pilot and demonstration techniques, etc.
  • Networking with customers, prospects, FBO’s, professional organizations, etc.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with other departments by effective planning and communication.
  • Assist customers when necessary in solving service problems.
  • Communicate with President regularly to approve aircraft pricing and deals.
  • Entertain customers.
  • Network with community leaders.
  • Ferry inventory from factory/stores.
  • Managers and above are required to review all processes in their areas of responsibility to achieve continuous improvement.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Job requirements

Ideal candidates will have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, ability to multi task and prioritize activities. 

Other requirements include:

  • Private pilot with instrument endorsement (minimum)

  • Entrepreneurial and business savvy

  • Highly self-motivated A proven successful sales track record

  • Sales training experience

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Four year college degree or equivalent experience
