As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will be part of a team working to provide outstanding products and services to our customers.
This hands-on position is responsible for inspecting, servicing, repairing, and troubleshooting aircraft airframe and structures systems, composite, and components.
Responsibilities of this position include:
- Accept ownership of assigned structural projects.
- Follow all policies and procedures including the Quality Control Manual for Elliott Aviation.
- Ensure safety and security of customer equipment, parts, and aircraft during all structural repair and modification phases.
- Interpret and read aircraft blueprints/modification drawings with direction from crew chief.
- Support structural repair and modification projects.
- Record and maintain accurate and timely aircraft and project documentation.
- Document on the job training to promote growth and development.
- Maintain safe and clean work environment.
- Support, maintain, and comply with all Federal, OSHA, State and local regulations, and Elliott Aviation’s Environmental, Health, and Safety Policies and Processes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Other Requirements Include:
- Airframe and Powerplant Certificate preferred
- Occasional overnight and short notice travel
- Must possess minimum tooling required to perform duties assigned
- Must be able to work various shifts, as directed by management.
- High school graduate or equivalency degree required.
- Knowledge and understanding of FARs 43, 91, 135, 145.
- Ability to obtain and retain AOA Badge or Airport requirements.
