This hands-on position is responsible for inspecting, servicing, repairing, and troubleshooting aircraft airframe and structures systems, composite, and components.

Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Accept ownership of assigned structural projects.
  • Follow all policies and procedures including the Quality Control Manual for Elliott Aviation.
  • Ensure safety and security of customer equipment, parts, and aircraft during all structural repair and modification phases.
  • Interpret and read aircraft blueprints/modification drawings with direction from crew chief.
  • Support structural repair and modification projects.
  • Record and maintain accurate and timely aircraft and project documentation.
  • Document on the job training to promote growth and development.
  • Maintain safe and clean work environment.
  • Support, maintain, and comply with all Federal, OSHA, State and local regulations, and Elliott Aviation’s Environmental, Health, and Safety Policies and Processes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Other Requirements Include:

  • Airframe and Powerplant Certificate preferred
  • Occasional overnight and short notice travel
  • Must possess minimum tooling required to perform duties assigned
  • Must be able to work various shifts, as directed by management.
  • High school graduate or equivalency degree required.
  • Knowledge and understanding of FARs 43, 91, 135, 145.
  • Ability to obtain and retain AOA Badge or Airport requirements.
