This hands-on position is responsible for providing world-class leadership, with the assistance of management, to create a team atmosphere where members are challenged to maintain aircraft in the safest, highest quality, most efficient means possible, and to provide excellent customer service, both internal and external. The Supervisor directs crew chiefs in all aspects of assigned aircraft projects including coordinating necessary resources, documentation, and communication with the appropriate personnel, including customers, to ensure timeliness and quality maintenance for delivery of the assigned aircraft projects.

Responsibilities of this position include:

• Provide expert level of advice and troubleshooting to technicians, customers, and other shops.

• Become main point of contact for all Jet Service teams for technical assistance and scheduling.

• Works closely with Department Manager and Crew Chiefs to develop, coordinate, standardize and implement new and existing procedures that promote continuous improvements in efficiency and quality.
• Assists the Department Manager in evaluating equipment and tooling needed for service work and troubleshooting. 
• Supports, maintains, and complies with all environmental, health and safety federal, OSHA, state, and local regulations

• Provide OJT to junior technicians.

• Work with Quality Control on all required documents for aircraft release and AD research.

• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Job requirements

Top candidates will possess excellent oral and written communication skills, management abilities and outstanding organizational skills.

Other requirements include:

• FAA Airframe and Power Plant Certificates required

• Inspection Authorization preferred

• Associate Degree in related field or equivalent experience required.

• Bachelors or Graduate Degree Preferred.

• Thorough knowledge of FARs 43, 91, 135, 145.

• Minimum 8 to 10 years related service experience required.

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience required.
